Konami finally shares cinematic footage from Silent Hill f, a new installment in the survival horror series set in 1960s Japan. The game follows young student Shimizu Hinako as she navigates a twisted reflection of her hometown, Ebisugaoka, and uncovers a dark mystery.
Silent Hill f marks the first time the series has been set in Japan and will feature all-new monsters. However, fans of earlier titles will notice Easter eggs throughout the game. The story unfolds with Hinako facing horrific creatures, solving puzzles, and making a terrifying choice that will determine her fate.
Notable returns include Silent Hill veteran Akira Yamaoka as composer for scenes in Ebisugaoka’s fog world and Kensuke Inage providing music for Ebisugaoka’s Otherworld. The game is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but a release date has yet to be announced.
