A total of four large-scale recalls have been issued this week, affecting various products in the kitchen and bathroom. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned consumers about potential hazards, including spoilage, chemical contamination, and foreign material contamination.
Consumers are advised to check their refrigerators, pantries, and bathrooms for the following recalled products:
International Delight Coffee Creamer: Danone recalled 75,054 bottles of International Delight coffee creamer due to spoilage. The affected flavors are Hazelnet and Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll, and they can be found in 31 states.
Certain Acne Treatment Products: L’Oreal recalled all lots of La Roche-Posay’s Effaclar Duo Acne Spot Treatment due to potential contamination of benzene, a cancer-causing chemical. Other products with elevated levels of benzene have also been recalled.
Trader Joe’s Sparkling Water: Trader Joe’s voluntarily recalled about 61,500 bottles of Gerolsteiner sparkling water due to potential cracked or damaged bottles.
Store Brand Oyster Crackers: Shearer’s Foods recalled 15,874 cases of oyster crackers sold at various stores in 24 states due to potential contamination of stainless steel wire.
