NASA and SpaceX are ready to launch their Crew-10 mission to the International Space Station on Friday, March 14. The agency’s Falcon 9 rocket, carrying astronauts Anne McClain, Nichole Ayers, Takuya Onishi, and Kirill Peskov, will lift off at 7:03 p.m. EDT.
Inspections of the ground support hydraulics system were completed successfully, clearing the way for launch. Weather forecasts are excellent on the Space Coast, with a greater-than-95% chance of acceptable conditions.
The Crew-10 mission is part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program and marks SpaceX’s 11th flight with crew aboard. The team will spend several months in orbit, performing dozens of science experiments as part of Expedition 72/73. After arrival at the station, they will rotate roles with another SpaceX crew, who are scheduled to undock on March 19.
The launch is expected to be covered live on NASA+.
