Snow White Premieres at El Capitan Theatre

Disney’s live-action reimagining of Snow White had its world premiere at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre, marking its March 21 release date. Attendees included Disney CEO Bob Iger, Gal Gadot as the evil queen, and Rachel Zegler as the titular princess.

The event featured a variety of activities, including “forest friends grove” with rabbits, professional glamour shots, and opportunities to create own jeweled crown and candy salad. The movie follows a princess who is rescued by seven dwarf miners after being exiled into a dangerous forest by her wicked stepmother.

Speaking to the backlash she has received as the movie’s young star, Zegler expressed appreciation for fans’ passion for the character. “We’re not always going to have the same sentiments as those around us and all that we can do is give the best of ourselves,” she said.

The premiere also brought together members of the Boys and Girls Club of San Fernando, affected by the Los Angeles wildfires earlier this year. Guests were treated to red carpet photos with starlets, cast members, and Disney executives.
