Former Alabama running backs are leading the pack in the NFL’s fan voting for the Pro Bowl Games. Derrick Henry of the Baltimore Ravens ranks second overall with 40,720 votes, while Jahmyr Gibbs of the Detroit Lions is fifth with 35,637 votes.
As online voting opened on Monday, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has collected the most votes with 44,681. The top vote-getters include Saquon Barkley and Josh Allen from the Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills, respectively.
In terms of position leaders within each conference, Alabama alumni Marlon Humphrey (Baltimore Ravens), Xavier McKinney (Green Bay Packers), and Quinnen Williams (New York Jets) are topping their respective positions.
Fans can cast their votes online through Dec. 23 via Twitter or other social media platforms, with double points awarded on the final two days of voting. The NFL players’ selections will be announced on Dec. 27, and their choices will count alongside fan votes in determining Pro Bowl rosters.
The culmination of the fan voting process is a 7-on-7 flag football game featuring Pro Bowl players on Feb. 2 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
