The event stopped abruptly as the band was singing “Don’t Stop Believin.'” Witnesses reported seeing people with fire extinguishers inspecting the area around the drums, before the announcer confirmed that the concert had been cancelled. According to Rodeo Houston, the incident occurred under the stage area, leading to the cancellation. The reason for the stoppage was an “unforeseen electrical incident” rather than a power outage, as initially reported.
