The Republican Party is becoming increasingly concerned about the impact of Elon Musk on their chances in next year’s elections. Some lawmakers, including Representative Richard Hudson, are optimistic that voters will reward them for taking a stance against what they perceive as “waste, fraud, and abuse” by defending government efficiency.
Hudson, chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee, is confident that his party will maintain power despite the growing unpopularity of Musk and Dogecoin (DOGE). When asked about his views on Musk, Hudson replied with absolute certainty: “Not at all.” However, not all Republicans share this optimism. Some have expressed concerns over Musk’s influence, citing negative polls and voter dissatisfaction. They’ve also begun complaining to the White House and DOGE officials, both individually and in group meetings attended by Musk.
