A Lowcountry man, Daniel Clarke-Pounder, 24, has been charged with arson after setting fire to a set of Tesla chargers in North Charleston. Surveillance footage revealed that he spray-painted “long live the Ukraine” and a crude message on the pavement next to the charging stations before fleeing the scene. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives launched an investigation after the incident occurred. With license plate information from surveillance footage, authorities were able to locate Clarke-Pounder’s residence and issue a warrant. He was arrested on Thursday and is currently being held at the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center.
