Gaming peripheral maker Angry Miao has released its first gaming mouse, the AM Infinity Mouse. Priced at $125 on Kickstarter, this unconventional mouse boasts a skeletonized magnesium-alloy shell weighing just 49 grams, making it one of the lightest full-size mice on the market.
The mouse’s innovative design features hot-swapping batteries with a magnetic battery that can be swapped out in seconds. The Infinity Mouse also includes an 8,000Hz polling rate and a PixArt PAW3950 optical sensor capable of 30,000 DPI, allowing users to customize sensitivity. Its tactile click features TTC Orange Dot Optical V2 micro switches.
The mouse’s design may seem over-the-top, but it promises to deliver exceptional performance with minimal input latency on high-refresh monitors. Final units are expected to ship in June with see-through blue buttons on the left side.
