12 Injured in American Airlines Plane Fire After Landing

A recent airplane incident involving American Airlines has highlighted concerns about flying safety. The US airline recently reported a fire after landing in Denver, sending 12 people to the hospital with minor injuries.

According to reports, the plane had been diverted due to engine vibrations, and while taxiing to the gate, an engine caught fire. Passengers were quickly evacuated via slides, and no fatalities were reported.

This incident is part of a string of recent aviation incidents that have raised safety concerns among travelers. In January, mid-air collisions near Washington resulted in 67 deaths, while an airliner clipped another plane while taxiing at the Seattle airport.

In addition to these incidents, other accidents involving injuries include a small commuter plane crashing in Alaska, killing all 10 people on board, and a Delta Air Lines jet flipping over during landing in Toronto. Several close calls have also been reported, including a FedEx cargo plane making an emergency landing after a bird strike caused an engine fire.

While the statistics suggest that flying is still one of the safest modes of transportation, these incidents are drawing increased attention to aviation safety concerns.
