Bengals Extend Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins to Multi-Year Deals

The Cincinnati Bengals have secured their two top wide receivers, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, with multi-year contract extensions.

Chase agreed to a four-year deal worth $161 million, including $112 million guaranteed, while Higgins signed a four-year deal worth $115 million, guaranteed for the first two years.

Chase’s annual average of $40.25 million sets an NFL record for non-quarterbacks, and his new contract concludes years of negotiations between the player and the team.

Higgins, who was hampered by injuries last season, was still productive when on the field, with 10 touchdowns in 12 appearances.

The Bengals’ decision to secure Chase and Higgins under multi-year deals has boosted the team’s chances of rebuilding its status as a title contender.
