Copper Hits Five-Month High as China Boosts Demand

The country’s retail sales rose 4% in the first two months of the year, driven by faster-than-expected growth at the start of the year. This increase helps offset the impact of US tariffs on Chinese exporters, which had put pressure on the metal market.
