General Motors is recalling nearly 100,000 vehicles due to transmission issues affecting Cadillac and Chevrolet Camaro models. The recall affects over 90,000 units, with the potential cause being internal damage in the transmission. If not addressed, this could lead to the front wheels locking up, increasing the risk of a crash. To resolve the issue, dealers will install free-of-charge software on the vehicle’s transmission control module at owner request by the end of next month.
