MLB Opening Day Schedule Revealed

Major League Baseball’s (MLB) 2025 regular season is underway, with teams beginning to take the field in Japan on March 18. The Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs are among the first to play, starting a two-game series in Japan.

The Dodgers will face the Arizona Diamondbacks, while the Cubs will play against the Diamondbacks as well. These games will be broadcast on MLB.TV or with a Fubo subscription.

The remainder of the 28 teams will participate in traditional MLB Opening Day on Thursday, March 27. On this day, teams including the Dodgers and Cubs will continue to play their first games of the regular season.

Notably, the Tampa Bay Rays have been granted an extra day due to Hurricane Milton’s impact on the area during the offseason. The Rockies also do not participate in Opening Day contests on March 27.

Tanner Scott and Blake Snell, two new additions to the Los Angeles Dodgers, will make their MLB debut on March 18. Meanwhile, Kyle Tucker joins the Chicago Cubs as they kick off their regular season.
