Eagles’ Lane Johnson Agrees to One-Year Extension Through 2027

Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson has agreed to a one-year contract extension through the 2027 season, according to ESPN reports. The deal adds $8 million over two years and an additional $30 million in guarantees, bringing Johnson’s total compensation to $40 million guaranteed over the next two years.

Johnson, who turns 35 in May, will earn $48 million over the next two years. His annual average salary of $20 million ranked second among right tackles before his extension. A first-round pick in 2013, Johnson has started 158 games and played 10,355 snaps since joining the Eagles. He has also earned multiple Pro Bowl selections, including six appearances, and twice was named a First-team All-Pro.
