Baltimore Ravens left tackle Ronnie Stanley has chosen to re-sign with the team despite potentially lucrative offers on the open market. Stanley’s decision is rooted in his desire to win a Super Bowl, which he feels the team is close to achieving.
Stanley acknowledged that the team’s impressive production over recent years has taken a backseat to their ultimate goal. “We’ve broken so many records… But definitely unfinished business,” he stated. The Ravens aimed to retain Stanley and make strategic additions, including receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who brings value to their passing attack despite not being his former self.
Hopkins’ signing was met with enthusiasm from Stanley, who praised the Hall of Fame caliber wide receiver’s physicality and competitiveness. However, Hopkins won’t be a “missing link” to the Ravens’ success; rather, he will expand their options in the passing game and make them harder to defend.
