Pope Francis Stable with Slight Improvement in Condition

Pope Francis’ medical condition has remained stable, with slight improvements reported at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital. The Holy See Press Office released an update on Monday evening, stating that the Pope is receiving care for respiratory and motor issues.

According to the report, Pope Francis is using high-flow oxygen therapy less frequently and can sometimes do without it altogether. At night, he relies on non-invasive mechanical ventilation. The swelling in his hand, previously reported, has shown signs of improvement due to reduced mobility.

The Pope spent Monday resting, praying, and completing some work. The next medical update is scheduled for Wednesday, while journalists will receive general updates through the Press Office tomorrow evening.
