Nestle Recalls Frozen Meals Containing Wood-Like Material

Nestle USA has issued a voluntary recall of four frozen food meal products due to the potential presence of wood-like material. The recalled products include three Lean Cuisine meals and one Stouffer’s product, which were produced between August 2024 and March 2025.

The affected products are:

* Lean Cuisine Butternut Squash Ravioli (five batches)
* Lean Cuisine Spinach Artichoke Ravioli (five batches)
* Lean Cuisine Lemon Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry (one batch)
* Stouffer’s Party Size Chicken Lasagna (four batches)

Consumers who have purchased these products are advised not to prepare or consume them and to return them to the retailer for a replacement or refund. The company has initiated the recall after receiving consumer complaints, including one potential choking incident.

Nestle USA is working with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture to investigate the source of the wood-like material. The company claims that this is an isolated issue and that it has taken action to address it.

The recall only affects these specific products, and no other Lean Cuisine or Stouffer’s products have been recalled. Nestle USA emphasizes its commitment to product quality, safety, and integrity, and apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the recall.
