Fewer Shoppers Turned Out for Thanksgiving Weekend Deals

A report from the National Retail Federation shows that fewer shoppers participated in holiday deals during the Thanksgiving weekend compared to previous years. The main reasons include the delayed start of the holiday season and an influx of promotions through October. Despite this, the number of shoppers who turned out to stores and online still exceeded expectations, reaching 197 million, just shy of last year’s record of 200.4 million.
