Tesla Vehicle Fires Under Investigation by FBI and Local Authorities

Federal investigators say two Cybertrucks caught fire at a Kansas City dealership, sparking suspicions of arson. The incident occurred late Monday night, with reports indicating one vehicle initially on fire, which spread to a second parked nearby. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames and secured the vehicles.

FBI agents and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) officials are working together to investigate the cause of the fires. Agents spent Tuesday searching for evidence in a neighboring neighborhood, knocking on doors and asking residents if they had seen anything unusual.

The incident has left many in the area feeling uneasy, particularly with protests outside the dealership. The President’s warning against labeling violence or destruction as “domestic terrorism” has added to the tension. At this time, authorities have not linked the incident to any other threats or acts of vandalism and are treating it as a possible arson case.
