Xbox Adaptive Joystick Now Available Exclusively Online

Microsoft has made its Xbox Adaptive Joystick available exclusively through its online store for $29.99, a year ahead of the initially planned release in early 2025. The joystick is designed to cater to gamers with limited mobility and comes with customizable buttons and optional 3D printable accessories.

Key features of the joystick include four remappable front-facing buttons, an additional shoulder button on the back, and an Xbox thumbstick, allowing single-handed operation. It can be connected to Microsoft’s Adaptive Controller or directly plugged into a PC or Xbox’s USB port. The packaging is also designed to be accessible and sustainable, following Microsoft’s new design guide for inclusive packaging.

The joystick’s availability is part of Microsoft’s efforts to provide gaming accessibility solutions, with the company aiming to make gaming more inclusive for players with limited mobility.
