Monster Hunter Wilds Bug Fixed Before Final Release

CAPCOM has confirmed that a common issue in its open beta of Monster Hunter Wilds – monsters frequently running away from players – has been fixed before the game’s final release. According to Game Director Yuya Tokuda, the bug was not intended and had already been addressed.

The open beta test, which took place at the end of October and early November 2024, revealed several bugs, including monsters moving more often than intended. However, Tokuda stated that the issue with monsters running away has since been fixed.

“The Open Beta test was an earlier version that actually had some bugs in it,” said Tokuda. “So we’ve gone ahead and fixed that bug, so we’ve now seen feedback from players, which is being improved for the final game.”

Tokuda also assured that the final version of Monster Hunter Wilds will not have the same issues as the beta test. The game’s release is planned for February 2025, initially announced in 2023.

Players can now look forward to a smoother gameplay experience, thanks to CAPCOM’s efforts to refine monster behavior and eliminate bugs.
