Golden Knights Cruise Past Bruins 5-1 Behind Dorofeyev Hat Trick

The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Boston Bruins 5-1 at T-Mobile Arena, with Pavel Dorofeyev scoring a hat trick to lead his team to victory. The win marks the Golden Knights’ fourth consecutive triumph and their first since losing four of five games.

Dorofeyev’s three goals came in the second, third, and fourth periods, giving him 30 for the season and making him the fifth player in Golden Knights history to reach this milestone. Ivan Barbashev and Brett Howden also scored for Vegas, with Jack Eichel, Noah Hanifin, and Brandon Saad contributing two assists each.

The Bruins struggled to find their footing against the Golden Knights’ powerful offense. Jeremy Swayman made 27 saves but ultimately fell short in goal. Morgan Geekie scored for Boston, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the dominant performance from Dorofeyev and company.

In the post-game press conference, coach Bruce Cassidy praised Dorofeyev’s hard work and dedication. “He puts the work in,” Cassidy said. “It’s not just luck one year. He’s found the right line, a good spot in the power play.”

The win marks a turning point for the Golden Knights, who had lost four of five games before this triumph. The team’s momentum is building, and they look to keep it going as they head into their next game.

For the Bruins, coach Joe Sacco emphasized the importance of staying focused and avoiding frustration despite losses. “We need to just keep digging in, working hard and making sure that we’re playing to the end,” he said.
