WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff has criticized the decision to book a Triple Threat Match between Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 41. According to Bischoff, the match is an “attraction” that lacks a compelling reason for its existence.
In a recent episode of his podcast, 83 Weeks, Bischoff questioned why the three top stars would benefit from competing in the same match. He stated that none of them would gain more over as a result of being in the ring with each other compared to their individual feuds.
Bischoff emphasized that it’s essential to have a clear reason or “why” behind the match, rather than simply pitting top talent against each other for the sake of entertainment. He argued that without a compelling narrative or emotional stake, the match would be little more than an attraction and wouldn’t resonate with fans.
The match is scheduled to take place at WrestleMania 41, where Bischoff believes it will ultimately feel like just another big-name showdown rather than a meaningful culmination of their rivalries.
