A German company is poised to make history as its orbital-class rocket, Spectrum, prepares for liftoff from a Norwegian launch pad. Isar Aerospace, which was founded by three classmates seven years ago, has received a launch license from the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority after completing final qualification tests on the rocket. The launch window opens at 12:30 pm local time in Norway or 7:30 am EDT in the US and is weather-dependent. This will be the first orbital launch attempt from a Western European launch pad, marking a significant milestone for European space startups.
