SmackDown Setups Historic Confrontation Between Reigns, Punk, and Rollins

Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins had a long-awaited confrontation in Bologna, Italy’s episode of SmackDown. The evening began with Paul Heyman entering the ring alongside his ally Wiseman.

Reigns explained that he targeted Rollins as revenge for Rollins’ attempt to end his career at Royal Rumble. He claimed Rollins screwed Punk out of winning the Cage Match due to Punk eliminating him from the 30-man match.

Rollins responded by saying it was pointless to try and convince Reigns how dangerous Punk is, but acknowledged their past feud has too much bad blood. CM Punk then spoke up, saying neither man has beaten him without the other’s help and questioned why Reigns would be bitter about what happened at Rumble.

Punk took credit for saving Reigns’ career by working with him at Survivor Series: WarGames, thanking Heyman for handing Reigns to him on a silver platter. The confrontation ended in a three-way brawl, leaving security struggling to separate the trio.

It has been confirmed that Reigns, Punk, and Rollins will face off at WrestleMania in a Triple Threat match, setting up what promises to be the main event of the night.
