Disney+ has released the official trailer for the second season of the Emmy-nominated Star Wars drama series, Andor. The upcoming season will conclude the story and set the stage for events in the 2016 film Rogue One.
The new season is described as an intense exploration of relationships and loyalty as Cassian becomes a key figure in the Rebel Alliance. With high stakes rising, characters will face betrayals, sacrifices, and conflicting agendas.
The trailer features the return of Ben Mendelsohn as Director Orson Callan Krennic and Alan Tudyk’s iconic voice for the droid K-2SO. The 12-episode season is divided into four chapters, with the first chapter premiering on April 22. Creator Tony Gilroy expressed excitement about audiences seeing where the story goes in the upcoming season.
The season will star Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, Elizabeth Dulau, and Tudyk, alongside Mendelsohn and Forest Whitaker.
