Chinese EV giant BYD has reported a record $2.1 billion profit in the fourth quarter of 2024, with revenue increasing by 52.7%. The company’s shares have risen 51% year-to-date and are near an all-time high. BYD has taken advantage of lower prices and higher sales to lead China’s car sales with a record 4.25 million vehicles in 2024.
