Google has introduced Gemini 2.5 Pro, a groundbreaking multimodal reasoning AI model that boasts unparalleled intelligence and capabilities. This new model is designed to “think” before answering questions, making it significantly more advanced than its predecessors.
Gemini 2.5 Pro will be available on Google’s developer platform, Google AI Studio, and in the Gemini app for subscribers to the company’s $20-a-month AI plan, Gemini Advanced. The model will excel in creating visually compelling web apps and agentic coding applications.
According to Google, Gemini 2.5 Pro outperforms top AI models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Chinese AI lab DeepSeek on several benchmarks. It scores 68.6% on the Aider Polyglot code editing test, surpassing most rival flagship models.
The model boasts a unique feature – a 1 million token context window, allowing it to process roughly 750,000 words in a single go. This is longer than the entire “Lord of The Rings” book series. Soon, Gemini 2.5 Pro will support double the input length (2 million tokens).
While pricing details remain unknown, Google plans to share API pricing information in the coming weeks.
