Google has released its latest AI model, Gemini 2.5, designed to tackle complex thinking tasks with greater reasoning and analysis. The new version is available now in Google AI Studio and provides improved performance on tasks such as coding, mathematics, and science.
Gemini 2.5 Pro Experimental sets a new standard for the series by incorporating a stronger base model and enhanced post-training capabilities. This approach enables the model to handle more complex problems and support context-aware agents.
The company’s CTO, Koray Kavukcuoglu, highlighted the achievement, stating that Gemini 2.5 represents “a new level of performance.” The model is being integrated into all future Google AI models, expanding its capabilities and support for advanced queries.
Gemini 2.0, released just months prior, powered the newly added AI Mode in search and Deep Research for handling complex queries. With Gemini 2.5, users can expect further updates from the company on its usage and applications.
