China’s foreign ministry has urged the US to reconsider its assessment of Beijing as a top military and cyber threat. In response, Guo Jiakun, a spokesperson for the ministry, stated that the US is spreading a theory meant to justify containment and suppression of China.
Guo added that China demands an end to conniving support for Taiwan’s independence activities. The comments came after the US had previously labelled China as its main military and cyber threat.
