He briefly left the game and returned to action, helping the Tigers win 70-64. Despite missing 11 minutes of playtime, Broome still managed to score 25 points and grab 14 rebounds, including a highlight-reel one-handed rebound and a clutch 3-pointer. When asked about his chances of playing in the Final Four, Broome reassured fans that he would be ready, giving credit to God for his recovery.
