Apple Unveils New iPhone Apps for iOS 18.4 and visionOS 2.4 Updates

Apple has released two new apps with the latest iOS 18.4 and visionOS 2.4 updates: ‘Apple Vision Pro’ and Spatial Gallery. Here’s what you need to know about these new apps.

The new ‘Apple Vision Pro’ app on iPhone offers a dedicated home for your Vision Pro, allowing you to view its model number, software version, and serial number. The app also provides access to tips and the user guide, as well as discover new content such as immersive videos, apps, and games.

The Discover page in the Apple Vision Pro app works similarly to the App Store’s Today tab, providing a curated selection of stories about recent Vision Pro updates and content. If you own a Vision Pro, the app will be automatically installed on your iPhone with iOS 18.4. Otherwise, it is available as a separate download from the App Store.

The second new app released today is Spatial Gallery, which debuts for Vision Pro users as part of visionOS 2.4. Spatial Gallery is a dedicated home for all spatial media, including photos, videos, and panoramic shots. The app features curated content from Apple and iconic brands such as Red Bull, Cirque du Soleil, and Porsche.

Users can discover stories and experiences from these brands, go behind the scenes with Apple Originals, and listen to conversations with top artists. However, it remains to be seen how regularly new content will be added to Spatial Gallery.

Both apps are now available for download from the App Store.
