NASA Astronauts Reflect on 9-Month Space Stint in First Conference

NASA astronauts Sunita “Suni” Williams and Barry “Butch” Wilmore have spoken out about their recent experience aboard Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft. The duo, who became the first people to travel on the spaceplane, faced technical issues that left them stranded at the International Space Station for nine months.

Despite the challenges, both astronauts expressed enthusiasm for returning to Earth and emphasized that they would gladly go back into space again in a heartbeat. In their first public interview since landing, Williams and Wilmore praised the Starliner’s capabilities and shared stories about adjusting to life without family for an extended period.
