Nintendo has unveiled its new game boxes for the Nintendo Switch 2, featuring a more prominent branding than its predecessor. The redesigned cases boast a red band across the top and a larger logo compared to the original Switch’s simple logo.
A notable change is the inclusion of clear upgrade information on both exclusive and cross-platform game covers. For instance, the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild edition comes with a statement about its dual format, allowing buyers to know what they’re purchasing.
QR codes are also now included at the bottom right of each box, linking to the official Nintendo website for easy access. The new Switch 2 is set to release on June 5, 2025, starting at $449.99, with bundles and individual game prices ranging from $79.99 to $499.99.
