SpaceX is ready to launch its latest batch of Starlink V2 Mini satellites into low Earth orbit on Saturday, April 5. The Falcon 9 rocket’s liftoff from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is scheduled at 10:40 p.m. EDT.
The weather forecast is favorable, with a greater than 95 percent chance of acceptable conditions at liftoff. A high-pressure ridge over the Atlantic will persist through the weekend, limiting moisture availability and preventing significant cloud cover.
This mission marks the 19th flight for the Falcon 9 first stage booster, tail number B1078. The booster has previously supported numerous launches, including Crew-6 and USSF-124. After liftoff, the booster will attempt to land on the droneship ‘Just Read the Instructions’ approximately eight minutes later.
