The incident occurred during the busiest Thanksgiving travel season ever, with over 18 million passengers screened at TSA security checkpoints. According to authorities, Dali bypassed multiple checkpoints and managed to hide in one of the plane’s lavatories without being detected. She faces federal charges for stowaway on a vessel or aircraft without consent, which could result in up to five years in prison.
