Happy Days Stars Reunite After 50 Years

Fellowship and camaraderie were on full display as Ron Howard, Henry Winkler, Anson Williams, and Don Most reunited for the first time in over five decades at Steel City Con in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The four stars of the iconic sitcom “Happy Days” walked onto the stage to thunderous applause from the audience.

“It feels like 50 minutes,” said Ron Howard in a recent Instagram video. “We’re having so much fun hanging out.” The group, which aired on television from 1974 to 1984, followed the Cunningham family and their close friends in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, throughout the 1950s and 60s.

The reunion comes after Winkler spoke with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette about being happy to reunite with his former cast mates publicly. He credited show creator Garry Marshall as a “brilliant creator” who brought the group together through their work. The four actors shared fond memories of playing each other’s on-screen friends and family members, noting that their relationships extended far beyond their time on set.

The event also marked an official declaration by the President of Allegheny County Council, making April 5 “Happy Days Day” in the county. This is not the first time Winkler and Howard have reunited; they walked out onto the stage together at the 2024 Emmy Awards to honor the show’s 50th anniversary.
