A historic building in Milwaukee, once used for commercial storage, has been sold at a sheriff’s sale for $5.2 million. The 1928 seven-story, 102,000-square-foot building at 3742 W. Wisconsin Ave., was purchased by an affiliate of Denver-based Ogilvie Properties. The property, previously owned by Platform II Wisconsin LLC, which converted it to self storage, had a foreclosure judgment filed against it in November for $6.3 million. The historic building is part of a series built by the Coakley Brothers in the 1920s and features terra cotta tile roof, decorative brick work, and a clock still bearing the C.H. Coakley name.
