Nintendo Unveils New Switch 2 with Upgraded Hardware and Games

Nintendo has unveiled its latest gaming console, the Switch 2, which boasts a larger screen, improved controllers, and increased processing speed compared to its predecessor. The new device will retail for $449.99, a $149.99 price increase from the original Switch.

The Switch 2 will be released on June 5 and comes with several notable games, including “Mario Kart World,” “Donkey Kong Bananza,” and “Street Fighter 6.” Nintendo’s president Doug Bowser discussed the console’s features in an exclusive interview, highlighting the company’s focus on innovation and expansion into film and entertainment.

The launch date of the Switch 2 was delayed due to tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump, which affect the cost of imported components. As a result, preorders for the device have been put on hold until further notice. Despite this delay, Nintendo remains committed to delivering an exciting gaming experience with its new console.
