Alexander Volkanovski Unveils Custom UFC Shorts Inspired by Macedonian Roots

UFC fighter Alexander ‘The Great’ Volkanovski has finally debuted a new pair of custom shorts, designed in collaboration with Venum, that have left fans thrilled. The custom design pays homage to his Macedonian roots and features a unique Greek meander pattern with deep green and gold colors.

Volkanovski’s nickname ‘Alexander The Great’ was inspired by the legendary king who conquered vast territories, including the Persian Empire. The new shorts include ancient symbols of honor and victory, featuring two laurel leaves beneath the waistband and Volkanovski’s nickname in Greek lettering on a round shield.

A Star Motif is also present, representing his home country of Australia. Fans have been eager to see the new design, with many praising it as “the best custom shorts by far.” The custom shorts mark a return to competition for Volkanovski, who has not fought in over a year. He will face Diego Lopes at UFC 314, seeking to reclaim his vacant featherweight title.

Volkanovski’s first title reign lasted 1,521 days with five successful defenses, solidifying his reputation as one of the greatest fighters in the UFC.
