Where Will The White Lotus Season 4 Go?

HBO’s hit series The White Lotus has wrapped up its third season in a dramatic finale, but that hasn’t stopped speculation about where the next installment will take place. Creator Mike White is reportedly seeking a change of scenery from the oceanfront locations that dominated previous seasons, with tax credits and subsidies playing a significant role in his decision.

Travel adviser Nick Cosinteno predicts that Japan might be the destination for season four, citing its unique culture and beautiful design aesthetic as potential draws. The Four Seasons Kyoto or Osaka could be the location, according to Cosinteno, who also suggests that Mexico’s Tamarindo or Punta Mita might offer similar advantages.

White himself has expressed interest in choosing a location that would benefit from hosting the fourth season, with his home state of California being a strong contender. Los Angeles, where he lives and cut his teeth as a writer, could play host to the show’s trademark “boat-arrival experience” if Four Seasons Resort Anguilla or another property is chosen.

Other possibilities include Palm Beach, The Surf Club in Florida, Australia, Ghana, and South Africa, all of which offer subsidies to host productions. However, White has stated that he wants to visit every continent, making his next destination “basically its own continent.”

While the exact location remains a mystery, one thing is certain: The White Lotus will continue to captivate audiences with its unique blend of drama and humor, wherever it chooses to go next.
