BYU freshman guard Egor Demin will enter the 2025 NBA draft after an impressive rookie season with the Cougars. Demin, a 19-year-old prospect, played for Real Madrid as a 15-year-old before joining BYU’s basketball team.
Demin averaged 10.6 points and 3.9 rebounds per game while helping the Cougars reach the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2011. He was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman team and finished fourth in the conference in assists.
Despite struggles with perimeter shooting and turnovers, Demin’s unique playing style and exceptional court vision make him a promising prospect in the draft. With his high-level flashes of talent, he has the potential to be one of the most exciting players in the class.
The NBA draft combine will take place on May 11-18 in Chicago, with the actual draft set for June 25-26 in New York. Demin joins a talented group of prospects vying for a spot in the 2025 NBA draft.
