Drew McIntyre has suffered another injury setback. During his brawl with Damian Priest on SmackDown, the Scottish Warrior’s head was split open again. This is a similar wound he sustained from CM Punk at Hell in a Cell back in October, which required 16 staples and kept him out of action for several weeks.
Despite being declared 100 percent healthy prior to the SmackDown match, McIntyre may not be fully recovered yet. However, reports suggest there’s no concern about his status for WrestleMania 41 next Sunday night.
McIntyre is scheduled to face Priest in a Sin City Street Fight at WrestleMania, which is part of the event’s stacked card. The women’s world championship and intercontinental championship bouts are also set to take place alongside other high-profile matches.
