Razer has upgraded its PC game streaming service with the ability to stream games at native screen resolution on Android devices, eliminating black bars. This feature is a welcome upgrade compared to most existing services that often stream at lower resolutions or aspect ratios.
The new “PC Remote Play” service automatically optimizes for the device’s maximum resolution and refresh rate, providing smooth visuals without any black bars. It also offers improved integration with Razer controllers, including rumble support, and compatibility with popular platforms like Steam, Epic Games Store, and PC Game Pass.
Users can access the stream using dedicated apps on Android 14 and up or iOS 18 and up devices, as well as other Windows devices. The service is now widely available after launching in beta earlier this year.
PC Remote Play also delivers high-quality streaming at low latency using the AV1 codec, making it an attractive option for gamers looking to stream their PC games on mobile devices.
