SpaceX successfully landed its first stage booster on the droneship ‘Just Read the Instructions’ during the midnight Starlink flight, marking another new rocket reuse record. The Falcon 9 rocket booster, tail number 1067, launched for a record-setting 27th time and supported the launch of 27 Starlink V2 Mini satellites into low Earth orbit.
The launch from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station took place on April 14, with favorable weather conditions forecasted. The booster’s latest outing comes nearly four years after its first mission in June 2021 and is the 115th landing on the droneship ‘Just Read the Instructions’.
This successful launch marks the 460th Falcon 9 rocket flight to date, solidifying SpaceX’s position as a leader in reusable rockets. The Starlink 6-73 mission also makes it the 27th time B1067 has supported a Starlink satellite launch.
