Samsung has announced its 2025 lineup of OLED TVs, featuring significant upgrades including advanced picture processing, improved glare-free technology, and increased brightness. The S95F model boasts quantum dot tech, a glare-free matte finish, and a 165Hz refresh rate, making it the only new release compatible with the Samsung One Connect Box.
The main differences between the S95F and its lower-priced siblings are the addition of quantum dot tech and the 165Hz refresh rate. The S95F also comes in larger sizes, ranging from 55 to 83 inches, whereas the S90F is available in smaller sizes (42″ and 48″).
At the heart of the S95F is Samsung’s third-generation NQ4 AI video processor, which has over six times as many neural networks as its predecessor. This means improved upscaling, noise reduction, motion smoothing, and color accuracy.
ZDNET’s Editor-In-Chief, Jason Hiner, praised last year’s S95D model as the best TV available in 2024. The S95F improves on this with enhanced luminescence and anti-glare coating technology.
The new AI features sweeten the deal for the S95F, including “Click to Search”, “Live Translate”, and Universal Gestures control using a Galaxy Watch. Other AI-enhanced smart features include Samsung Food, Home Insights, and Pet and Family Care.
The prices start at $1,300 for the 42-inch S85F and go up to $4,499 for the 77-inch S95F. With up to seven years of software updates and competitive pricing from Best Buy, this lineup offers significant value for those looking for a premium OLED TV experience.
