NVIDIA Builds AI Supercomputers in US for First Time

NVIDIA is working with its manufacturing partners to design and build factories that produce AI supercomputers entirely in the United States. The company has commissioned over a million square feet of manufacturing space in Arizona and Texas, where it will build and test NVIDIA Blackwell chips and AI supercomputers.

The project aims to create tens of “gigawatt AI factories” across the US, generating hundreds of thousands of jobs and trillions of dollars in economic security. By 2027, NVIDIA plans to produce up to half a trillion dollars of AI infrastructure in the country.

NVIDIA’s partnership with leading manufacturing companies, including TSMC, Foxconn, and Wistron, will help strengthen supply chains and boost resilience. The company’s advanced technologies, such as NVIDIA Omniverse and NVIDIA Isaac GR00T, will be utilized to design and operate the facilities.

The US-based AI factory production is expected to meet growing demand for AI chips and supercomputers, with Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, stating that “the engines of the world’s AI infrastructure are being built in the United States for the first time.”
