Dak Prescott Leads Early Arrival at Cowboys OTAs

The Dallas Cowboys’ new head coach Brian Schottenheimer kicked off his era on Monday with the start of voluntary Organized Team Activities (OTAs). Despite a busy offseason, several key players have already begun filing in, including three-time All-Pro pass rusher Micah Parsons.

Parsons’ presence is notable due to ongoing contract talks and his intention to be present throughout the offseason program, which this year began a week later than initially permitted by the NFL. The Cowboys’ staff had opted for an extra day to fine-tune their plans, considering the significant overhaul of their coaching staff.

Notable early arrivals include Dak Prescott, who is recovering from a season-ending hamstring injury, and newly-signed defensive lineman Solomon Thomas. Other players such as DaRon Bland, KaVontae Turpin, Jake Ferguson, Cooper Beebe, and Juanyeh Thomas have also begun to report. The Schottenheimer era marks the start of an important training camp in July for the Cowboys.
