Jeff Bezos Sells $63M Mansion, Moves to Miami’s Billionaire Bunker

Jeff Bezos has sold his Seattle-area mansion in Hunts Point for $63 million, the most expensive home sale in Washington state history. The 9,420-square-foot waterfront estate features a dock, elevator, and glass walkway connecting it to a two-story guesthouse.

Bezos purchased the property in 2019 for $37.5 million after his divorce from novelist Mackenzie Scott. The new owner is Cayan Investments LLC. Bezos has been living with fiancée Lauren Sánchez in Miami’s ultra-exclusive Billionaire Bunker island community, where they’ve amassed a $237 million real estate portfolio.

The couple’s new home boasts six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and over 12,000 square feet of living space. They previously purchased two other homes on the island for $68 million and $79 million in 2023. The exclusive community has only 40 homes, with neighbors including Tom Brady, Ivanka Trump, and Jared Kushner.

Bezos had lived in Seattle since Amazon’s founding in 1994 but announced his original move from the city, stating that Seattle would always hold a piece of his heart. Florida now holds a larger piece of his portfolio, as Bezos settles into his new Miami home.
